Welcome!

As this quarantine really starts to set in, I’ve decided to start this blog for parents like me. I like to call myself a realist parent. Kids will be kids and therefore will not do a single thing according to plan, so most of our life is us winging it to keep them happy and busy.

Just to give everyone a little info about myself: I am a married mother of 2 young children, my headstrong 4 year old and my rough and tumble 3 year old. On top of raising them, I am the lead teacher in a 1 year old classroom! I have literally been up to my ears in kids for 10 years! Even so, I’m still finding myself at a loss as what to do during this pandemic. Though I will use this blog to post some of what we’re doing to keep away the boredom and to offer ideas for those who are also at a loss! Let’s be lost together and help each other get through this crazy time in parenting!

Lost in Parenting

Like most parents, I find myself questioning and comparing myself and my kids to others. Then I wonder why I feel the need to. We rush to judge other moms when their kids act out in public, and feel shame ourselves when we can’t control our toddlers meltdown at the grocery store. We’re all lost in parenting, so why go the journey alone?
